anyone here know how to resize a gif file? you can either tell me how to do it or i can upload it and you can do it

thanks!

Most photoshop programs have an option that basically allows you to resize an image. In Adobe Photoshop 7 that I have, you go into Edit >>> Image Size >>> then pick size. Also can be done in paint.

If you can't do it, upload it, and I will do it for yah in no time. Just tell me what you want, and size.

Animated images need flash to be resized, because like you have found out, they don't stay animated. I will see what I can do.

Look for a copy of JASC animation software.

You can unzip a GIF then resize it then save it again as the new sized GIF.

It should be available as a freebie on a 15 day trial, it was when I resized my coffee swimer.

They do stay animated after resizing. You just need the correct software for it. I'm using ImageReady (it comes with Photoshop) to resize animated gifs.

AH, I don't use ImageReady to much, I mostly stick to just photoshop and JASC Pro Paint or what ever its called. Good to know though, that I can use that program to resize stuff.
