The close up lens on my camera is a 28mm wide I believe.
unfortunately with my present camera I am limited to what is incorporated within the camera. Which is why I want to up grade to an SLR type where I can change out the lenses as well as make adjustments with the settings.
White Peacock butterflies are about three and a quarter inches across or about 8.55cm I believe.

*blush* thank you sweetie. Until I took that photo I did not realize I had changed that much. 3 years of hormone therapy had shaped me. Oh *grin* it helps to have a mambo butt too.

Thank you Tess I used to have lovely butterfly garden stocked with all kinds of host plants. It was magical to sit in a chair and have them swirling around you. Maybe I will have one again some day. The statue was one my father had in my parents bathroom, it was fascinating to me as a child. I have told my mother I want it when she is gone. lol I hope she gives it too me, Gawd knows where I will put it, maybe in the middle of my butterfly garden. lol
