Ghosts?

Well, can't say I've ever seen anything but I hear strange things at times. Lately, it's been my cat that I had to have put down this past spring. About three times since, I've heard him meow. I miss him.

Now that really needs to be a Halloween story!

Only if they're dead ghost mice.

Dead ghosts. Would that make them alive?

Nope.

That would make them food for ghost kitties.

Well that's fucked the afterlife up for all you girlies that think you're going to have svelt arses afterwards. I thought you could stop eating after you died?

Well, believe it or not, I ran into a ghost in St. Louis Cemetary, #2 in New Orleans once upon a time. It was an old woman, and she was just as real as real can be. She told me about an antique shop to go to off of Chartres Street. I turned to look back at her, and she was gone. I went to the address she told me, and it was an old, abandoned house with a courtyard. I wandered around the courtyard for a while. It was beautiful.

I had completely forgotten about this, but my sister reminded me of it while watching TV last night.

We Thanksgiving dinner at our house every year. It's just members from my mother's side of the family stopping by. Her parrents, sister, and brother, and their children. We have this photograph from one year, it was of our cousin in my sister's bedroom, with another woman standing next to her. No one knows who this other woman is. She was never at our house at Thanksgiving, my sister doens't recognize her, my parrents don't know who she is, and it is really creepy that none of us remember this woman being at our house, let alone posing for a photograph standing next to our cousin.

Very, very creepy.
