Ghosts and Goblins

must admit i dont believe in goblins but i do believe there is something out there

I almost died in Vietnam from a head injury (fractured skull). It was like being alone inside your head with no sensory input, just you and your thoughts. I concluded it could get boring pretty quick, and decided I preferred to live.

I believe the world is totally mortal.

Once you're dead that is it.

Nobody, or nothing, hangs around as a spector to haunt the living. The thought is ridiculous and shows how far humans will grasp at any form of immortality. Get on with living and forget about the inevitable.

I personally don't like to 'believe in' stuff. I get entertained by things, but I also like to look into things and like to see what some unusual or uncommon idea that is around the place actually amounts to when you try to establish facts about it.

The one thing I have realised over the years is that people themselves have vastly different temperaments and some haven't got the patience to observe complex or subtle things closely enough to be able to 'see' them.

The reality of some things has to do with their nature being less physically obvious, and that is why they are often supposed not to exist at all.

Neutrinos exist. Vibrational Circular Dichroism of electromagnetic particles exists.

I have seen in some ancient text or other, that there is a universal protocol in place which obstructs some people from perceiving ALL that there is, that actually exists. Any idea of mind can be constructed into a form of organised matter and energy with the right technology - and some properties of neutrinos suggest that even the inertia of time/space can be overcome through transcendent data.

There is no question in my mind that at some point in our own progress of technology, someone could easily 'create' an elf, or a goblin, for instance if they wanted to, and send it in any 'direction' in time.

The big question is what is intelligent consciousness? Not, what things are there. EVERYTHING could/might exist.

Is your consciousness neutrino-based? Because if it is you can and will very definitely consciously 'live' beyond the life of a human physical body. If supremely high-speed and hypercomplex DATA is consciousness, then there is really a lot more to this universe than we have presumed. More, to it; not less. Much MUCH more.

holy hell, i find myself in agreement with someone who goes by the handle "dr insanus" :(

in other news...
i think it's pretty damn intriguing that the ancient incas had what looks like a pretty good knowledge of dinosaurs, and depicted humans interacting with them

think the ancient incas were trying to portray Raptor Jesus?

So does anyone other than myself believe in ghost, aliens, the Loch Ness monster, or anything else that may be out there?

Even if there isn't concrete proof anything exists?

Or do you need proof before you would believe that there is something out there?

And for the record, I also believe in conspiracies.

I don't believe that you believe in conspiracies... I need proof! :)

Not sure if I believe in ghosts and whatnot, but I do believe in aliens and astrial projection. I can't really explain astrial projection, but wirh the aliens its obvious. I cant see how in an infinite universe we are the only living things.
