I got this cool idea for a story about a ghost hunter who investigates a haunted house and encounters a ghost mom-daughter duo. They tease him, scare him, and eventually fall for him, then, with their power, they appear before him in a temporary form.

Then they have sex, that's when our protagonist asks about their death, and learns that they were victims of a homicide.

Now the story shifts to a mystery-revenge style where our guy seeks revenge against the ones who did it. Then he recovers their bodies and gives them a proper burial. That's the end.

Thought about an endgame sex but by that time the story becomes too emotional for an erotica

Nice idea - I would definitely read that :)

If I was writing it though, I would change the order of things a bit. I think this would give a better flow:
  1. Hunter discoveres ghosts
  2. Ghosts tease him - not together, but individually. No sex yet
  3. Hunter agrees to take on the mystery
  4. Emotions with each of the ghosts deepen, teasing gets more juice - possibly sex with one or both of them (individually)
  5. Hunter solves mystery and ensures proper burial of bodies
  6. Ghosts attend their own burial with Hunter and then fade while thanking him
  7. Ghosts return next night in Hunter's bedroom and proceed with full FFM - can leave it open if this is a one-off opportunity they get or something they will keep doing every night
You could let the mother and daughter be discovered in different rooms and unable to move around (ghost bound to where it died). That way, he can be the intermediary and eventually enable them to be together again

Cool points, but from what I know, once the bodies get a proper burial, the ghosts go to the other side, with no coming back

I meant something like the ghosts taking a touchable form
I think that's called becoming corporeal. Although that has more to do with having a physical body, so maybe the word you're looking for is tangible? Which means something that can be felt.

Ghosts generally stay if there's unfinished business. He gave them everything to finally leave. It compells them to stay a bit longer. To give him properly the business as thanks, giving all their remaining power for his gratification.

I like the overall premise, though I think there's a few things I would change. He only asks after the sex about how they've become ghosts. I think it'll (rightfully) be a niche thing to still have a hard on when you hear the ghost women you have sex with have been gruesomely murdered.

As you're the writer and ghosts change to fit the plot in all stories you can make things make sense. They get their power from positive emotions. When the protagonist gets them to fall for him, they get more corporeal the closer they get to him. You can make this situational.

You can use this emotional connection to have them act in the real world, assisting the protagonist in bits and pieces. It can be bittersweet, moving them along places they loved and lost, finding out more about the mystery during.

This can keep the connection alive, you have people the protagonist can talk to and adapt to, as well as further the plot and if you want, sex. Literature is in interaction. Missing the two women for much of the story can work, but I think having them appear at times makes it easier.

I'll def keep these points in mind, but first I need to work on my grammar. I'm planning to look up some grammar classes and start from square one

That's a corporeal form, and the strength of it depends on the ghost. Depending on where you get your lore or heresay from; the type of ghost, age of the ghost, or strength of the ghost. For example, a regular human spirit; it takes great strength, because it taxes their energy, unless they're very old, and developed the skill. Yet, it's pretty much the norm for a Dopelgänger, for their goal is usually to kill their fixation, and replace them in their life, because they don't want to be dead.

Not exactly. That's why old cemetaries will have iron fencing around particular graves, despite the entire property having an iron fence around it.

The weirdest thing I found when I moved down here was that the cemeteries only have a gate with no fencing. When I asked my SO about it he said that they used to believe that all you needed to keep the spirits in was a gate. It didn't even need something to close it, just an entrance exit was enough... I still find that kinda thinking crazy, like how are the ghosts supposed to know what the boundaries of the cemetery are?

Usually cemetaries have a stone or brick wall around them, and the iron fencing is on top, and an iron gate. Some do just relay on an iron fence. I do know some types of stone do have some sodium content in them.

The reason is ghost are weak against iron and salt, so they can't cross a barrier made of it, typically. By law, I believe a cemetary has to be enclosed. The only way an open gate would keep them in, is if there was iron in the ground as a threshold they couldn't cross. It's two things Supernatural actually got right. Now if the gate has an arch over it, like some do, I'm not sure how effective that would be, by itself, I've never thought about it, or looked into it.

Yeah a few of them have low walls, but most don't even bother with that, just a big arched gateway big enough to pull a horse drawn hearse though.

I knew about salt, and red earth, but not iron. Although I suppose Iron might be why red earth works. 🤔 Hmmm, on second thought that might be why they rarely bother with a wall, so much of the land around here is laced with red clay.

I think I have once seen that red clay/dirt, has some sort of iron deposit in it, that makes it red. Must suck as a ghost. Imagine walking around and running into random barriers made of red clay. The world is a hall of perfect plate glass windows.

Take that red clay, add salt, make bricks out of them, that would make a pretty good detterent of a wall, or house, for most supernatural things.
