Kate let out a cry as her husband entered her, enveloping her in his fur as his sharp amber eyes watcher her features so closely. She wrapped one hand tightly in his fur, pulling him closer while her other hand wrinkled the paper that was on his desk, nearly ruining his orders and letters. She bucked up against him, groaning as he made the same noises, matching her in passion and need.

With one hand still bracing her shoulder down against his desk and one on her thigh, Kell let her feel a strength she'd only seen a glimpse of once thus far. Made powerful and graceful by a lifetime of riding and constant discipline in his former dark line of work, Kell thrust into her body with force, but smoothly and nearly silently if not for his willingness to growl out his pleasure.

At some point in the race for climax, his wild blood began to rage and he leaned in close against her shoulder. He nipped at her skin and the scar of her mating mark, but he wouldn't repeat it without her say so.

Kate was beside herself with pleasure as Kell rode her like she was a prized filly. He was quick and firm, nearly silent except for the soft snarls that issued from his snout from time to time. She whimpered as he leaned in and nipped at her shoulder, his amber gaze wild.

"Yes, eldere. Please..." Kate gasped, her green eyes closed tightly as her belly clenched tightly in anticipation of that moment.

Her Wolf didn't oblige immediately, instead waiting for the perfect moment. As her moans grew louder and higher in pitch, signalling the last, sudden rise to pleasure, he struck. Canine, bestial fangs sunk into her sink and clamped down to help pin her down when her body writhed uncontrollably, and held her there at his mercy.

Kate let out a cry loud enough to wake the dead. She was sure that if Qira hadn't been standing outside of their room, many more people would have known what they were doing. She bucked up against him, unable to dislodge him from her in any way as his teeth held her still and his hands trapped her as his hips continued pumping into her quaking body.

Kell finally drew back, his head tilting back as his seed spilled onto the stone floor at his feet with a deep groan. He half-collapsed over her, his panting coming out quietly but harshly at the exertion.

"Gods, Kell." Kate groaned as her husband came as well, collapsing down over her as they both panted in the aftermath. "What got into you?"

"You," he growled softly yet lazily, his softening cock resting against her thigh as most of the tension from the day left his body. But ever the responsible one, he pulled away to get a small washcloth from a basin in the room to tend to her shoulder.

"I ruined your papers." Kate murmured softly as she sat up, the crown on her head slightly askew as Kell tended to her new shoulder wound. "And are you going to bite me for each major event in our marriage? I'll have to be prepared when we start to bring cubs into the family."

Kell gave no thought to his papers outside putting them in a drawer. He smiled lightly at her question, reaching up to carefully unpin the crown from her hair and set it aside on a pillow. "Only if you want," he muttered. "You seemed to want it in the moment." He tended to her every need, cleaning things up and taking care of the bit despite just wanting to take a nap and be lazy for a while.

Kate stilled him as he worked on her shoulder and she kissed him again. "Let's go to bed for a while, love. Qira will wake us when it's time for dinner."

Kell nuzzled against her as she made him pause, and he scooped her up to carry her to their bed. Both bare, he curled close to her under the covers and let out a deep sigh.

Kate smiled as she curled against her husband's side, letting her eyes close as they rested in their wide bed. They had taken up residence in the royal suites, vacated by Marianne before they had arrived. Marianne had moved to a lower level, smaller apartments but still as handsomely attired as Kate and Kell's apartment was.

"I'll spend some time this next week getting everything sorted in here. Your desk will be moved to the room that you wanted overlooking the city." Kate said with a yawn. "And I'll get the tapestries hung on the walls."

"If you can find time," he chuckled softly. "This first month will be busy, if not the entire first year."

"I want to do everything that a wife would do, Kell." Kate said her eyes opening to look at him as he chuckled at that. "Making our home is something that is important to me. I want this place to be just as homey as Inverness has always been."

"We can do it together." Kate said softly as Kell relaxed, exhausted after having planned her entire coronation's security detail. "But I know that you'll be too busy to even think about it."

"Nonsense," he muttered. "Now go to sleep. You need it." He laid his head on her chest at that.

Kate was sound asleep in moments as Kell nuzzled against her chest, a happy smile on her lips. It wasn't quite the life that she had imagined when she was younger, but she was very happy with what she had in the moment.

Kate was woken a few hours later by her husband, already mostly dressed and having laid out her evening gown for her. "Time to go make merry and try not to offend anyone," he murmured with a smile as he looked down at her.

Kate grumpily rubbed at her eyes, pulling the blankets up around her shoulders as Kell made a joke and tried to get her up and dressed. "To hell with what anyone thinks." She grumbled, pulling a pillow over her wild red curls.

"Mhm. And if I let you stay in bed now, you'll hate me for it later when you get in trouble." Kell scooped her up from the bed, still in the blankets. "Come on, love."

"Kell, put me down." Kate complained as he scooped her up from the bed, the blankets still around her body. "You are such a pain in my neck sometimes."

"Says the woman who demanded I steal away to pleasure her on her coronation day. Now let's get moving, or I'll let Qira come in and take over whether you're naked or not."

"You wouldn't dare." Kate threatened as she looked at her husband, knowing that he would. "Fine. But I'm not happy with you."

She tossed aside the blankets and changed into clean undergarments before she started to dress in her new evening gown. It was black and blue again with a silver sash that went around her waist. Her crown would go back on her brow, but first she needed to fix her mess of hair. That might take hours, she thought to herself as she sat down at her vanity to start.
