Is it too late????

Being middle aged, being rather large framed.......

At 6'6", about 280 at the moment, I do 4-miles or so 6-days per week, have a home gym, lift...... rather good shape for an old fart........

Found an easy way to lose weight.....

Told my spouse of 31-years she was turning into a fat old women.......

Now I cook for myself, clean for myself, get groceries for myself.......

Just kidding!! Requested that she have the cook redesign our meal program to leaner foods, etc.

That request was made this morning. Will see how it goes!

And exercise....... love the sweat condition...... muscles engorged.... :nana:

Spring time, time for recondition of the body!! Before old age sets in long term!

Has anyone talked about those Ronco Pants stretchers yet?

That would be a much simpler solution. Cheaper too.

<cackling with laughter> I love you horsie!

Joe: Muscle burns more calories than any other kind of flesh. If you put a bit of muscle on, then it will speed up your metabolism and you won't even need to try to lose weight.

But isn't there that thing about muscle being heavier than fat?

yeah thats right but you'll loose inches so you'll get in your pants because muscle is denser than fat...so a pound of fat is (i think) is 3 times as big as a pound of muscle....something like that :) anyhow if you loose fat and replace it by muscle you'll loose inches :)

I also found that if you drink lots of water you have an easier time loosing weight. Last time I tried it I was drinking 2 gallons a day and lost 10 pounds in a week. I started on it again two day's ago. You have to drink half your weight in ounces every day, at least. And anouther ounce for ever ounce of another liquid you drink, other than juice. So far I'm getting the about 80% of what I should. We'll see how it goes this time.
