Getting ignore to work

Is there any place to go for help getting Lit chat's "ignore" to work for me? I realize this varies depending on each person's browser and settings. Mine used to work but stopped a couple of years ago. Firefox on a Win10. I've already tried Edge and Chrome, and it doesn't work there either.

You can try the Tech Support forum. This function can be problematic for many users.

When you say 'it doesn't work', can you be more specific? You should get a red icon next to that user's name and not get messages from them anymore. Bear in mind that an ignore is room specific and isn't retained when you log out and log in again.

Yes, I know that it's room specific. It used to work for a while, but now I can't "add" anyone. Yes, the red icon is there but I just keep seeing their messages.

The ignore feature in Chat is room specific?!? That seems like it would be frustrating

Yes, even when it works, it is room specific.

The tech support forum has topics about this, but it doesn't look like anyone's ever really figured it out. The not-working-at-all-for-some part. The room specific part is by design, apparently.

Mine doesnt work, it will boot me when ever i use it.
