(I have her hat!)

Thank you all for the wonderful words. I should have put a disclaimer on my post that I wasn't looking for any affirmation's but just writing down my thoughts on life. Which you are taking this walk with me. Lol. Despite my insecurities I have been pretty comfortable in my own skin. But sometimes you have that one thing that happens and it sets you back a little. I will never forget the one time I wasn't able to ride a rollercoaster with my daughter because of my size. That hurt so bad. My ex did the best to comfort me but the damage was already done. I have a case study that I have to write a paper on and it's on weight discrimination so it's been interesting to try and write on something that I'm use to. Wish me luck!

Wishing you all the luck in the world hun.

The incident with the roller coaster must have hurt like hell. I remember few years back going on a bus journey from Glasgow to London, about 12 hrs, to discover I didn't fit in the toilet. The looks from lots of the passengers well just say not nice.

Please be very happy in your skin. I see you as a very beautiful young lady

BTDT. But, it's easier for a man I think. Our society believes that women a size or two above average need a special label. I wouldn't have thought you would have ever had that kind of experience.

Unfortunately yes. Had a conversation about this with someone months ago. But being a larger gal for many years I've dealt with it a lot. Grade school was the worse, then the eating disorder started and I was skinny until after I got married and more so after kids. :(
