That last bullet point makes me uncomfortable. I’ve been trying to put my finger on why, and I think it stems from a want to never have someone I care for feel like I am easily thrown away.

Sorry if I am bringing this conversation down. I do think if someone you care about is making you feel bad, you should tell them and talk it out together. Don’t just toss them in the bin as a first reaction. If you’re continually being treated that way by this person? Then yes, absolutely choose yourself first.

I understand what you are saying and if I could have taken that line off the picture I would have. I'm one to never give up on someone until the very end. It's just who I am.
