Get Well StarryNightin64

are you sure that's good news? ;)

No clue. But they can't just throw me in a new sling cause they don't want the shoulder to freeze. The new MRI makes the most s sense.

What's the worst they can do?? More surgery or ignore it.
Either way shower duty may be open again.

Well I got ticked off at my ortho's fellow (speciality intern) & Mr new Doctor man learned the hard lesson of listen to your patient. He tried to blow me off on the new MRI to throw MORE meds at me then toss me to another doctor who works on necks. More meds??? I'm the one patient they learn the most on holistic stuff from. Also REALLY WRONG MOVE especially after he stood outside my door & told another patient that as long as she's in pain they can always do another xray & MRI for her.

He also tried to say my shoulder wasn't healing up because I smoke. REALLY??? Because I don't smoke anything. Apparently Mr man had assumed that all medical marijuana is smoking a joint... (I take CBD oil caps which is legal in All 50 states) <rolls eyes> the team took care of me and arranged a new set of xrays & are setting up a new MRI. There is now a note in my file that I refuse to see that jerk ever again. And I have a follow up with Doc on Valentines Day.

Well I just wanted to say get well and I didn't check the date.. so glad you're all better... lol

Not yet Spencer.
There's still too much pain this past month that's really bad. I'm beginning to think that I torn the rotator cuff again and the ortho's intern / fellow is blocking me from a new set of xrays and MRI to see why.

Ok welcome to my own personal version of Groundhog Day...

Guess who needs to have surgery on her left shoulder again???

Hi Starry, sorry to hear that - just hope it sorts you out once and for all! Short term pain, long term gain and all that...

:rose:

Thanks guys.
All the pain, different ways to do things to just deal with normal stuff...
It's getting old but then so am I.

Good luck, Starry, may the force be with you!

Thanks.:rose:
My medical team is awesome & I really appreciate them but this is
getting to feel like that Groundhogs day movie not a real life.
One more doctor appointment today & I get a break until next week.
at least this is needles & I can come home & try to sleep.

March 6 the is the date of the next surgery.

Thanks.:rose:

I just gave up working an event with my Honor Flight team due to one of the PGR guys bragging he was Ride Captain for the event. This is a big black biker guy who has messed with me in a very not nice way for a couple years now. Last surgery he tried to shoulder check me while I was in the sling post surgery. I had nightmares for a few weeks after that. I turned him in & the PGR (state & National) didn't care. My normal Honor Flight events I have tons of Sheriff's Deputies & local cops with me. They all know about him & watch out for me when he heads up there to mess with me. This event I will not have any cops with me... so I am passing.

Thinking of you. Wishing you a great weekend.:rose::kiss:

Thank you!! :rose:
The 2 weekends before surgery are the worst. You feel bad and hurt but you've got a list a mile long to get stuff accomplished while you still can. Cause it's gonna be months till you have a chance to try again.

I caught a small break and don't have to be at the hospital till 7am now on Monday.
That sure beats 5 am and I hope means that they are going to fix my bicep tear.
Besides the rotator cuff again.
