ok, someone mentioned Last Tango in Paris in another similarily named thread and it got me thinking about "hot" hollywood movies...

what are your favorites, that ones that really turn you on?

Mine is Like Water For Chocolate... every time... *panting*

Thief of Hearts.

Kind of a sticky, romantic movie. But the premise. :D

A man steals a woman's diary, then uses the information in it to seduce her.

I stole a scene from it for one of my stories. (looks innocent)

Oh my god, I remember that one!! I haven't thought about that movie in years... I watched it on cable while I was babysitting my sister's kids... :)

you're right, Rob, interesting premise...

9 1/2 weeks...that scene where kim bassinger is masturbating while watching slides on the projector...and while it was a wretched movie, sliver, in the one good scene in that movie: sharon stone masturbating while in the bath.

uh...

whaddaya mean, you see a pattern?

edit: stella, i loved that movie! also, i'd be remiss in not mentioning moulin rouge, esp the introduction to nicole kidman's character.

And ok ok I know it's a teen flick (sorta) but...

Cruel Intentions, the tension between Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe (YUM on both counts, can I have a hallelujah??) ...

and when she says, "You can put it anywhere."

*moan*
yeah...
that part!

Having no imagination, I'm reposting the collage of the "Last Tango" butter scene I posted on the other thread.

"Tango's" not bad as a non-porn "hot" flick, but my favorite is still, "A Man and A Woman."

Rumple Foreskin

This site, "Worst Sex Scenes Ever" includes the Tango butter scene (which I did not enjoy given it's a rape scene and the girl gets zip out of it).

A truly erotic lovemaking scene (between husband and wife no less) can be found in Nicholas Roeg's "Don't Look Now" starring Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland as the couple. It's also set in Venice :) .

Jessica Lange and Jack Nicholson in "The Postman Always Rings Twice," on the kitchen table.

the subway scene in risky business. but then, i've always had a thing for rebecca demornay.

I'd follow Kate Beckinsale's character in Van Helsing anywhere.

*nodding*
awful movie, but she was great eye candy in it :)

Did anybody like the Unbearable Lightness of Being?
I think I was too young to "get it" when I watched it...

There is a foreign film (French) called "Betty Blue" that has the single hottest, most real sex scene I've ever witnessed at the very beginning... I get wet just thinking about it...

Body Heat with William Hurt and Kathleen Turner. Him throwing a chair through the french door to get to her is just too hot.

Golly, Rumps, you just gave me a little noontime swoon.

Cheers, Perdita

[nods]

excellent film marred only by the appearance of a very young keanu reeves, IMHO.

Dangerous Liaisons

Jon Malkovich's line "I have her gladly offering to do what professionals blanch to hear"

So wickedly hot!!!

I wish I were him.

Sarah Miles... twice... the forest love scene in "Ryan's Daughter" (1970)... and then again with Kris Kristopherson in "The Sailor Who Fell From Grace with the Sea"(1976)

Kurasawa's "Ran"

The scene where Lady Kaeda (she would correspond to Lady Macbeth) takes control, holding a dagger to her husband's throat during sex and basically telling him that she's going to destroy his family and he's not going to do anything about it. :catroar:

He, unfortunately, caves in like a wimp.
