Georgia Roll Call!!!!!

This is Masters week. And no, Tiger Woods :cattail: won’t win.

Two weeks or so before Acuna gets to the Bigs! If he catches fire, he’s going to put a lot of people in the seats.

The Braves swatted the gnats again. This team has a different feel to it than last year. And we get Camargo, Gohara, and Acuna soon.

now if we are talking football, I watch every play..
I'm out of control when watching the Dawgs play football. I cheer loudly, jump up and down constantly, and, at times, curse and/or cry. Sometimes all of it at the same time.

It's why I like going to Sanford to watch the game. I behave myself a bit better. Mostly.

If you're good with all that, we should watch every play together sometime. Just text me when you get to the stadium. I'll be the one wearing the red "Go DAWGS!" shirt.

:D :nana:

Maybe, just maybe, this will be the last cold day until around October 27.

The Braves are 6-3! It feels like a dream. They could still lose over half the games, but I don’t know. I like this team! I might have jumped the gun with talk of Acuna. He’s hitless after two games. Maybe he’s pressing too much. He’ll be up soon but first he has to start hitting in Gwinnett.

You better be knocking some wood while saying such.

For some reason, I feel the need to tell you to not get your hopes up.

There is reason for hope. The Braves have arguably the best farm system in baseball. Rome, Fire Frogs, yes, we have the Fire Frogs, Rome, Mississippi and the Stripers, what a horrible fish to be named after! You can’t even eat a Striper, can you?, all have great young arms.

But, people want to win now, and they are just going to have to shine it on for another year or two, or even three, but our long Braves nightmare will end.

Now is the time to enjoy the cooler days before it gets HOT!
:nana:

That’s not baseball, that’s winter Olympics in Chicago. We’re going to be fine. Hell, we might even take two of three if we win on Sunday. Of course, the weather is predicted to be worse. I just as soon come home and beat up on the Mets next weekend.

My cat got out yesterday. Which means I have to follow five feet behind her for about 100 yards then I’m allowed to catch her and carry her back. I can’t leave her out because she’ll disappear until morning or the second morning. That got her permanently grounded. :cattail:

Another cold windy yucky day and we’re on the back side of April. Makes me want to kick Al Gore in the balls.

Some of the Braves fans are mad as hell because Acuna hasn’t been called up yet. Fuck, he’s not a loaf of bread that’s going to expire. He’ll be up soon enough.

I didn't know we had the same cat. :D

Seriously. What is up with this "run-run-run away from you, then I'll just stop when I've made you run-run-run after me" thing they do? I don't blame you one bit for grounding her.

For real. But don't kick just yet. It's supposed to be 70 tomorrow and 80 the next.

Oh, wait. It's getting back down into the 40's later in the week. Nevermind. Go ahead and kick.

I expect 40s at night. It’s the 45 highs with gale force winds that piss me off. I just don’t like cold weather, snow, undercooked veggies, the designated hitter, or football teams who wear orange or yellow.

My cat is pretty amazing. She climbed straight up the wall once to get to a window five feet high and didn’t leave but two little claw marks. She has her quirks. She hates the school bus, thunder or heavy rain, and makes biscuits on my leg, but overall, she’s a good cat.
