Georgia Roll Call!!!!!

I personnally have never been, but the folks I have talked to who have said it was amazing, if you love to eat tons of meat in one sitting

Tons of meat is a big attraction. I really think we'll end up there at some point this winter or spring.

I want to take my wife to somewhere different from where we normally eat. Have any of you ever been to Fogo de Chao? If yes, did you like it?

Thanks for any response.

It's great, but definitely go hungry. I think it's one of those places where the most fun is going in a big group - FWIW

Hi Peaches! CRAZY week! Glad its the weekend, so I can get caught up on all my school work. Tissues are not as easy as bones!! :(

Tissues harder than bone? Who would have thought? Here's hoping you have a quiet and peaceful weekend so you can catch up, sbelle...:D

With bones you just got the name and a few parts to each one....tissues are way more complicated (or seem to be so far....)

For example
simple squamous epithelial tissue
simple = it only has one layer
squamous = the shape of the cell and the nucleus
epithelial = it covers something
And it can have one layer or many, be one of several different shapes and many different functions.....so the name game gets complicated here. Lots of terms to memorize.

Thats everyone's free A&P tip of the day! LOL

And I have had a very peaceful day home alone....and behaved for *most* of it! ;) Oh, and I got alot of homework caught up! Was sick earlier this week and got a lil behind!!

id like you to study my tissue and my bone

You'd have to keep it in 'anatomical position' for long periods of time...think you can handle that?!?!

I am serious!! :D Everything that is discussed in anatomy and physiology is described as it is in the anatomical position! lol Which for the record, is ERECT, feet just slightly spread, palms forward with thumbs lateral to the body. (lateral means away from the middle/trunk)

This class is pretty fun actually, but its getting harder. But, you all know....this girl likes it hard!!! :D:devil::D

(take it away peanut gallery!!)

I loved A&P! Can't wait for classes to get started. I have missed learning.

which anatomical position, yours or mine ;)

take turns? lol

congrats ML4H! I love school to and I do like A&P also. It is very interesting and once I 'get it' it is so much easier to remember the stuff. College has been a great positive outlet for me. There are some days I just cant wait to get away from home/work stress and go to class! lol (but I figured that was just me being a nerd!:D)

Off to read about more tissues!
