Thanks MadLove! Its been a long road! She has been in the hospital for 45 days now......and it took us pulling together as a family and making her get up out of the bed to get her to start getting better. We figured the hopital staff would do their jobs but in the end we had to take charge. Its a shame, but once we implemented our plan she made remarkable progress every single day! Now at rehab and getting very mobile again. Just in time for me to start classes again this week. I didnt get much of a break since I was at the hopital every evening for hours on end for the last 3 weeks, but thats ok. My granny is worth it, and it kept me from getting too lazy over the holidays!! haha
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all as well! We always have a big party, and THAT we did. Fun fun! but the day or two after when we are all at home quiet and kinda doing our own thing is kinda depressing.....after being surrounded by all my besties for most of the day and night on NYE. i guess that could be me recovering from all the alcohol intake as well! haha

. We went to hang with our BFF's and I got so tired that I fell asleep before midnight. Guess I am not as young as I used to be

Must have been me getting up for work at 5am that did it.
Almost two days later and you are still recovering from the effects...it really must have been Fun Fun...
you know, i have to be honest, its the sleep deprivation that takes me longer to recover from than the alcohol.
I was up almost 24 hours and it takes me two lazy days to feel better! lol The day of the party was all spent cooking, baking and cleaning...so by the time we finished partyin I was whooped. But my BFF and I got up and cooked breakfast for all the folks that stayed so we didnt sleep but a few hours. Anyway, my new year has been celibate so far so it wasnt THAT fun!! haha

I have had the worst possible day ever
i am sorry ML4H! Chin up, tomorrow is a new day!
And I start 2 new classes...im not sure if I should be scared or excited. Microcomputers and Anatomy and Physiology. A&P was my favorite class in highschool, so I am hoping it wont be TOO hard. And I doubt there is much they can teach me I dont know about a computer...but I am always willing to learn! We shall see I suppose, so BRING IT ON!!!

For the first time ever in my life I got fired from my job. So now I am in the process of looking for another one. I've always been the type to be on the go so I am pretty bored sitting at home.
Hope everyone is safe and out of this weather and doing whatever it takes to stay warm

Awe I am sorry to hear that! I am sure you will find something perfect soon, but in the meantime I hope you can enjoy some of your time off!
We got 3 inches of snow. School and work was cancelled! Wooo hooo! Me and the kid at home all snuggled up keeping warm, while I'm reading my anatomy book. Im thankful for an extra day off, even without pay!!
