I was up till 12:30, drank 2 absolut tonics and 2 pints of some very dark beer, went to bed exhausted and still was wide awake at 7... wtf

we are both sick, our friend we were supposed to meet is sick

we are probably going to go out for maybe an hour if we feel like it and come home and go to sleep

we had a nice party. I passed out about 1 from sheer exhaustion before everyone had left! lol We had almost as many teenagers as adults, and I am still in utter SHOCK at how these kids behave away from home. I am usually the 'cool' mom everyone wants to hang out with and talk too..... today, when they all came to hang out at my house(with my daughter), I made them all hate me. I mean really, am I the only parent left that gives a shit how my kid behaves, what she says, and still make them be respectful????? I was utterly disappointed and told them all so, as well as their parents. They are all very aware of how not welcome they are at my house now!! And ofcourse my daughter is mortified that I disciplined the neighborhood....but them heathens needed it and from the looks on their faces, they dont get it much. What a shame!!

Agreed, my oldest is 16 and no problem, but I'm working hard on separating my 14 yr old from her current crowd.

And in my work I see the kids who weren't supervised all the time

I do realize that some parents do everything they can to instill values and still lose out to peer pressure from other kids. But when you see the parent act worse than the child, you just know where they got it from!

One of the many perks of "being really nice" to my customers!! hehe they slip ya gift cards every now and again!!
