Not the weekend I had hoped it would be. My grandmother passed away about 3:30 this morning. At least I got to say good bye.

My day was nothing like what I planned either. Started off great, but ended very not. Turns out im a horrible parent again...i think i want to give her away until after these hormonal teenage years are done, and her daddy too....but im not sure i want him back...lol

The teenage years will get better. My gf and I are going through it now with her son.
all my friends have boys....and they tell me constantly its so much different than with girls...and that they DO NOT envy me at all.....sigh.....
and i remember these days with my mom, i dont know how she did it to be honest. the things i used to say....and the things i hear my daughter say...they are very hurtful. i know she doesnt always mean it...or god i hope not...but hurts all the same. I call my mom often now and tell her im sorry for the things i said as a kid....and she just laughs and laughs, b/c she knew I didnt mean it. My girl JUST turned 13....i hope i make it to the other side with my sanity!!!!
