Ahem! I seem to recall dragging _your_ country onto that European map just now. I think you are trying to pull a fast one on us. ;)

(27/45 - I kept trying to stick the eastern european countries into Russia.)

Shhh don't tell anyone in GB they are part of Europe, no-one believes that, they will think your telling fibs!

Where do they think they live then? On some brave bold continent in-between North America and Europe?

42 out of 45, 79 miles, and 313 seconds. I'd like to thank the makers of the game "Risk" and all the alternative history writers I've loved for years...

Of course, on a small island where they are ruler of all.
Which depending on their eyesight means up to 1.5 km on a sunny day and as its usually raining .2 km

lol

I'm not bothering. I think I know where like four or five countries are, and three of them are england, scotland, and ireland.

One of those isn't a recognized sovereign country.

Good shit SW, VERY educational.

Well aren't you guys just so fucking cool!

I got 4 countries right on that second test. I did better on the European quiz where you don't even get a border!

Time to hit the atlas.

Lighten up homey. Look at what i had to find, and remember what you know of me. i've been in six of them, and had a vested interest in knowing the location of the other four.

Where does Mongolia fit in?

I'm an admitted geography/map nerd. I qualified to partake in the provincials (which only allowed 100 kids in this province to enter - a province with 3 million people) of the Canadian Geography Challenge.

Look at the countries to the north and south, then think back to the 80s and early 90s.

Zaire and Namibia?

No wait....

That country once had Outer as part of its name. When Gorbachev got "stuck" in his dacha in August of 1991, the country's entire name changed to "sandwich meat" in some circles.

I would have aced the USA map.
I knew some of the european countries but I decided it would be best to have my boyfriend do it. Since he is British and has traveled around.

#1 trial
36/45
80%
102 miles (avg error)
319 seconds

42/45, 93%, 14 miles off, 370 sec (I had to check a dictionary to find out which countrey is Belarus). Those eastern countries that are not EU yet were quite hard, especially if they didn't have a shore to place them by (I'm really bad with rivers)
Now I'm off to try the other one.
If one of you still has the US test, I'd like to try that one, too...

I hate Africa! I don't know ANY countries there...
So I got only 40 % on the world quizz. Have to try again!
