Genuine conversation?

I am fully aware of what kind of site this is, but sometimes it is nice just to have genuine conversation that does not have to fully revolve around sexual topics.

Perhaps I am the only one seeking that here and completely understand if that’s the case.

Don’t get me wrong, I have no issue talking about experiences and discussing things of a sexual nature but not 100% of the time

I agree, wholeheartedly. It's not unreasonable to want - and have - conversations that do not revolve around sex. I've been pleasantly surprised by the depth of substance, meaning, and emotion of conversations I've had, personally - or witnessed here.

Those discussions exist, you just have to separate the wheat from the chaff. Typically, someone's motivation will be revealed quickly, so you can decide how/when to proceed. You're not alone.

I have read your profile and I can sympathise. I also have a spinal injury at T10, lucky for me, i am paraplegic but slowly gaining mobility back in my legs. Welcome to chat more in DM if you wish.

Thank you. I had my surgery last May and am now able to walk short distances with crutches bit still need a wheelchair foe longer distances. Was 5 months in hospital and have had to live the last 6 months in my living room due to not being able to use the stairs. Using a commode instead of the toilet.

You are definitely not the only one. I've been around Lit for a long time and have enjoyed several such friendships. Sexual topics weren't avoided, but weren't necessarily the focus of the relationships. Unfortunately for me, most of those folks are long gone and I miss it.

This is something that I would enjoy. Learning things about someone can be engaging and enjoyable.

Yes this is Lit. There maybe times of sexual questions, learning kinks. Etc.

To find a connection is ideal. Preferably not a 100% sexual.

A long lasting genuine conversation seems to be a lightning in a bottle around here, for many reasons.
Maybe start a thread for yourself on topics that interest you and want to talk about? Just a thought .Those who come and stay, will stay for that. Might be a better way than exchanging DMs. Unsolicited few words from my side and my apologies on that front.
