Gentle son comforts mother vs rough/cold husband

It is an archetypical structure that I really enjoy. Mother is in unsatisfying relationship with cold and strict husband, the son is very gentle and comforting.

I would love to read some stories that have this setup.

Eventually I want to write one myself, but I am not a very good writer yet, so I would prefer to read some first.
