I'm one, are you?

I wanted to be Princess Leah.

I wanted to play with Han Solo (I don't know what she saw in her brother).

I was only 5 at the time. That's worrying.

When I left home and got married (16 years later) I got a cat and named her Leah. I got another cat and named him Ben (I'd grown up).

My brother's nickname is Chewy.

Is there a psychiatrist in the house?

They made another Star Wars?

... ;)

Actually, I'm one of the dedicated few that have kept the Star Wars RPs going on the RP board. I can't say I ever really wanted to be one of the already existing Jedi (from the originals, that is, since there were only two) but the idea has always intrigued me, especially considering I'm almost 28 and I'm RPing like I'm not one, but several Jedi.

And a Toydarian smuggler. ;)

Dr Scheherazade at your services! :catroar:

I don't think that's odd at all. When I was younger, most of the kids on my estate were boys. As a result, whenever we played Star Wars, I always ended up being Princess Leah. It sucked because I hated her hairstyle - it looks like she's permanently wearing earmuffs. Whenever I complained I'd get relegated to something really crap, like R2D2, which was just supposed to bleep and glide around while everyone else was brandishing their light sticks and climbing trees.

I ended up taking out my frustrations on my action figures. When He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was popular, I was so determined to prove my worth that I took my plastic He-Man figure and challenged him to a fight. It only ended when I'd reduced him to a quadruple amputee. I got a real hiding for it, but it was hard to hide my self-satisfaction at having whooped He-Man's ass! :p

You're hardcore. You rock. :D

Funny you should bring this up. I just recently learned I am Darth Revan. But I cast aside my darkside ties and and returned to the Jedi order to defeat my former apprentice Darth Malak.

Does this mean you're ready for a Big Mac? C'mon, all us light-siders are eating them...

When I was Princess Leah, I let the boys tie me up. Darth Vader rescued me once. He was my first love... :cathappy:

Oh dear, it looks like we might be in competition for "Top Geek." My entry: I actually have played the Star Wars roleplaying game system. That's TWO activities high on the geek-o-meter in a single event. Oddly, I've never been tempted to play a Jedi. Dashing pilot, yes - got the Jedi reeling drunk and tried to take advantage of her, but evidently they're capable of making themselves sober. An otter-ish engineer, once, with a cybernetic dog I built from spare parts. But I think my favorite was the Trianni (huge tigerish race) bodyguard who, when the Sith lord stepped out of the shadows in a move of great dramatic flair and power, went the practical route and punched him in the face.

I am no longer worried about myself; there are far worse cases out there...

(You also rock. :D)

Explanation: I've been playing Knights of the Old Republic lately. And Starting on KOTOR II now.

Role playing games for the PC. These two are some of the best I have seen for a while.

...which I'm going to. A friend of mine who is utterly insane has been in line since the dark ages or something like that to get the tickets. I told him just how utterly insane I thought he was, but since he's there, how about booking a couple of seats for me too?

I wanted to play that game, but I just can't get sucked into a black hole of time like that with my obsessive nature.... I won't leave the house - well, I'll leave the house less than I already do.

Aww come on, don't pout. I'll let you know how it ends.

Not too much into Star Wars. But, another board that I frequent had this formula for figuring out your jedi name: You take the first 2 letters of your first name and the first 3 letters of your last name -- this is your first name. Then, you take the first 2 letters of you mother's maiden name and the first 3 letters of the town you were born in -- this is your last name.

My jedi name: Sawil Stmea
