I used to have an animated gif in there, but it stopped working.

Funny stuff has been happening with sigs for a few years now. Wouldn't be surprised if that changed as well.

I've been seeing other people with the gifs. Idk.

I was able to get one as my AV by compressing the hell out of it.

Also, try different image hosting sites. Some no longer work with Lit.

Yea, I'm a guy. I haven't been able to update my profile yet. I keep clicking on edit profile and it keeps taking me to update email and password.

The "edit profile" function hasn't worked for a least a few years now. I wouldn't hold my breath on it getting fixed anytime soon.

But ya doesn't has to go into the (disabled) Profile Editor to change your Avatar. There's a different place/link for that from your User Control Panel.
