Shame the Killa thread died. Now that defined the GB and made me the man I am today.

I was over at the PG just sifting through the threads looking at porn (they do have good porn threads) and there was a little exchange about the GB and how mean they are.

Well one poster pipes up that s/he posts over here ALL THE TIME, and if you have thick skin it's not so bad. Never seen the name, so I was doubtful. I did a quick check of it's recent posts and sure enough, post after post after post in one of those lame-ass neverending Getting In The Last Craving threads.

Not that I care. But, it seemed kind of misleading to say you have thick skin and pose as some kind of GB Warrior when all you do is post in the most Playground threads the GB has to offer.

Since when is posting on the General Board considered a tour of duty?

When I arrived in 2002 a friend created a hot tub thread for me. Yeah, it was loaded with nitty gritty sexy adult fun. People actually pmed me relentlessly trying to tell me how to act and behave on Lit. I was single, at home with my kids and came to the internet for a release I didn't have in my life(yeah it was all about sex)Lit gave me attention & most of all...kept me out of trouble. I saw it as a form of creative writing. Though it seems there are those that still believe its morally wrong to post in such a manner to those I salute you *flips bird* for being fucking mature.

*ehem* In approximately one year Em's Tub had just over 9,000 posts and a constant flow of guests. How many of you can hold a Litsters attention for that long? It was always a party and group sex was a fantasy I could only have there. Life is serious enough. I have no qualms with the PG or the GB and consider them a completely different animal. I was tired of the PG routine and switched over. As always the attention whore thrives.

I do not take the internet as serious as others this was always something I noticed. Don't like a post....tough. Posting personal stuff was a major fault of mine. The phase "something I was going through" seemed like a good excuse. As always my life and posting continue to evolve...hopefully completely off the threads someday. lol

And I am supposed to flinch? <Laughing> I am not here to quibble with you. You illustrate a point quite well of why I do not usually visit here. Life is too short for antagonism, energy is better spent elsewhere.
The playground and general board are definitely two different animals and I like it that way. They both serve their purpose and to be honest I have met assholes at both places, and some fine folk as well.

I definitely am no General Board warrior, actually I am quite timid in nature. I am over here just for a change and wandered over following a link.

I believe I started posting on the General Board first....then wandered to the Playground. To be honest I do not remember which one I started on. Does not matter to me where someone usually posts.
I think it is great to have these forums in which everyone can express themselves troll or not. I really would not want to live in a place where I was not offended, meaning freedom of speach is alive and well.
