If I hadn't just bought a new iPod I'd be preodering a DS - the new Mario looks far too awesome to pass up.

That's the trouble with nintendo - I always end up buying an entire system just to play one game.

I wouldn't narrow it down to one game but I do find myself buying the system for only about 3 or 4 games. 3 or 4 really damn good games!

Geek from MA here..

I actucally live in a Geek cell, too. My roomates are sitting around the "dining room table" (we never eat on the damned thing. It's usually covered in Magic cards and D&D books) playing Civ the Board Game... Great way to spend a sunday :D

Welcome fellow Geek. I never played much D&D, but I do have a Magic card beginner's set here that they gave me at E3. They were giving those things out by the bucketloads. Don't know if I could ever get into it though...

I only played D & D a short while before my group fell apart, but I loved playing Civ the board game. I favorite game at the moment is ticket to ride. there's a place in my city that sells are sorts of great board games (and has a warhammer room upstairs for people who are bigger nerds than I).

Just tgot back from Mar-Con in Columbus. :cathappy: Oy, tired but lots of fun. Shopping, peeked at some gaming, ah to be back to geekdom.

My Ex-Gf's previous ex-bf forgot his collection of magic cards at her house. She valued them at around $1000 and he never did return for them. She decided it was best not to sell them and I assume they are still sitting around somewhere... doing nothing.

depending on what set they are, 1000 is a conservative estimate......i have cards that are worth 100 dollars each

I am the only one in my house who dosn't play magic. With my roomates, and their magic playing friends I wouldn't be surprised if they have a communial pot of 8 to 9 thousand cards...

i used to have about 5k....my mother accidentally gave them to my brother when i was gone one day....he sold all but a handful of them for worthless Pokemon cards

The most card playing I do is UNO on Xbox Live.
