I like Atlantis too. I think the way the writer spun Atlantis into the intire Stargate plot was very well done -- i think the only thing that made me wince was them calling the bad guys "wraiths" -- i immediately thought about Lord of the Rings and was thinking, "that was a stupid rip off".

You'd think the writers would have cuaght that before, "knowing how many sci-fi fans are also LOTR fans.

That aside -- i like the series.



I too am a sports dweeb. Sans Xgames sports. I could rattle of my top 5 street and vert skaterboarders -- but don't ask me who the Bears quarterback is. I haven't watched since 1985.

Hey all. Hope your weekend was better than mine. (Sprained my left wrist, nailed my left knee really good, and both my legs are scratched all to hell from my running through the woods down Pusan (Ulsan, actually) way....but it was a hell of a good trail.)

Just sat down and watched FF7. I was not expecting to like it, as I enjoyed the game, and didn't think any movie could do it justice.

On the whole, I enjoyed it....but at the same time, I missed a few things. But I suppose each of us would make the movie differently, as we each relate to different characters more or less.

Well, I hope all of you are doing well as my monday ends, and most of yours start.

It looks better and better with each preview... although I'm still kinda 'eh' about the Beast make-up. Granted, that's probably the best you can do but oy!
