Geek factor 7 - redux - how many remote controls do you have?

Yep, you guessed it, I have 7; two for the TVs (I have TV in the living room and bedroom), one for the Satellite RX, one for the audio/video controller, two for the VCRs in the living room and bedroom, and finally a remote for my digital camera.

How many do you have in your household (you can include the car too).

Oops - voted for the wrong one - I voted for 6 by mistake. Oh well, one doesn't have batteries and I don't use it.

Let's See where to begin:

3 VCR Remotes
4 TV Remotes {only 2 tv's that need them }
3 home made remotes for the thermostats so I can turn the heat up a hor before I get out of bed
2 home made remotes for the tubs hot and cold water, to get it ready for morning shower
2 Radio/stereo remotes
1 very old power cord remote to turn off the lamp across the room so I can stil see to get in the bed
1 long stick to turn on the light switch from the bed too.

ps. am I allowed to include the remotes I am working on making? if so:

1 Remote to prewarm the toaster for toasting
1 Remote for the bathroom light
1 remote to flush the toilet
1 remote for the kitchen light
1 remote to program the alarm clocks

opps, forgot a few that i don't really use but I have

3 universal remotes that only work on one thing and not universally as claimed
1 cable box remote
1 digital cable box remote.

I had to go with 7, I have one for the tv two for the vcr's one for the dvd one for the satalite one for the stereo one for the ceiling fan and one in my truck for that stereo. so I guess I qualify to be a geek.

+10 for me. I have a techno-loving hubby. But I shouldn't pass the blame on him, I love tech too

All through the house and studio we have 3 tvs, 4 vcrs, 2 dvds, umpteen stereos and receivers...but we lost the remote to the partridge in a pear tree.

Say, do remotes on vibrators count??
