I think you're right that it's someone who specifically wants you excluded. The voting's always been a bit fucky, but this round is an outlier. Honestly, having someone who is THAT offended by your existence and that invested in precluding you from being voted in is a far greater honor. It's fucking impressive

Personally, I am prouder of having been disqualified than I am of having been inducted, and I say that even after I was granted access to the lit executive lounge and awarded my personalized lit porsche, as is customary for all HOF members.

I think this is a clear case of arrogance, petty jealousy and a smidgen of insecurity. The alleged cheater has some gall. The numbers continue to increase everyday because this alleged badboy/badgirl clearly does not take the threat of a do-over seriously.

I don't know a whole lot about this software, so maybe someone who knows better can correct me, but I don't think Laurel can just "look" and see who any alts are. I think she could compare IP addresses and find matches, but that would take some work, it wouldn't just be apparent.

I'm inclined to suspect it was done just to mess with people—considering there's probably been more talk about her than anyone else in all ten rounds, I think someone thought it would be great fun to make sure she lost.

After all, back in Round 7, someone voted ~20 times for the entire bottom five for no apparent reason.

Or maybe someone genuinely does have something against her. Who knows?

There are many people who have contributed much more to Lit than I have. I know a lot of people have a bad taste about seeing my name up there, and I don't blame them. I still voted for people I know don't like me because I know they've contribute a lot to Lit.
