Gay harem

I was looking at stories with the ‘harem’ tag and realize that every category has thousands of stories with the tag, but only 1 for gay male. So for any writers that contribute to gay male stories why not a harem story?

A story about one man that recruits/unites a group of sub men for his pleasure. Each one can have a different kink or perform a different role for the MC. This way you can have an MC have bears, twinks, jocks, any number of different relationships, just like any other harem story.

Who wants to write that story?

very niche- you might do better DMing a few of your facourite authors in that category. Bucky Duckman might be a good bet.

That’s what surprises me is that it doesn’t seem niche. Like I said every other category has a ton of harem stories. So why not one gay man with several gay lovers all focused on him. Can be vanilla or kinky, pretty open concept.

I think... there's a, perhaps misguided, perception in the public consciousness that gay relationships are more open than the, arguably culturally restricted, heterosexual standard. Thus, polyamory seems less exciting in that context.

Connected is the discussion of possessiveness. The heterosexual harem kink is in a significant degree about the guy "owning" the multiple women in sense of having exclusive access for sex with them. Is there the same sentiment in gay circles and mindset? Of one guy having a exclusive access to a group of partners? I suppose there might be, as at least a niche, but it doesn't have that much visibility.

"open concept" because the garem spills out of the kitchen into the "great room"? Thank goodness for kitchen islands for sex spots...
