Thank god I flew Southwest. But here's the downlow on American and Delta. Both are busy doing all the inspections...and I think both are close to being done with all of thier planes. They are iffy on canceling evening flights just in case they can actually get the planes inspected and ready to go

The planes being inspected (MD-30's) are used almost exclusively on international flights.

I'm going to check them out. I don't think I'm in much danger of having my flight canceled or delayed, though. AA runs something like 10-15 non-stop flights to Chicago from SAT every day. I may get there late, but I'll get there.
