It does not. I have no idea where that number came from. The guy has not been in the debates along with the Green and Peace & Freedom. As much as I want to see a multi-party system, 5% is not going to do it.

I'm pretty sure that if the Libertarians get 5% of the vote nationally, then the Libertarian candidate for president will automatically be on the ballot in all 50 states in 2016 and they will get federal campaign matching funds.
