One more reason to love dogs: A gang of feral cats in France attacked a woman and her poodle, forcing both victims to seek medical attention for their injuries.

The cat-attack occurred Sunday near the city of Belfort in eastern France. The 31-year-old woman was walking her dog near a wooded area when six felines set upon her, knocking her to the ground, The Independent reports.

But cats are known as aggressive hunters, too: Recent research has revealed that cats kill between 1.4 billion and 3.7 billion birds, and between 6.9 billion and 20.7 billion small mammals, each year in the United States.

Irresponsible owners in my state mean that I deal with feral cats here on a daily basis.
The other day I shot 4 in less than half an hour
I set traps every day, and generally get 7 - 10 a week.
Evil, nasty fuckers - gotta be really careful going near them to move the trap!

Dude. I've witnessed gangsta Chihuahuas roaming through the hood. If doggies can do it, cats certainly will fall prey also to this rash and disruptive behaviour.

*chuckle* I was witness to the opposite of that story. A neighborhood lady had a pet Ocelot she'd travel around with. One day she was at the local service station getting some gas and a group of local dogs, three, gathered around her car jumping up and down barking at the cat. As she was getting in her car one of the more brazen hounds ripped her hose or something..................so she let the cat out.

It was like watching a tornado go through a trailer park, those dogs couldn't get away fast enough, and indeed a couple of them didn't. 40lbs of pissed off pussy bent on retribution is an awesome sight to behold.
