Fury's Vacation.

Damn! Oh well. Life is that way sometimes. I didn't research it. I should have.

Look at it this way, you have saved the lives of 3 deserving creatures. Does your husband have problems?

He nearly died falling off a high concrete retaining wall head first into a concrete parking lot a few years ago. Strangely he's had no allergy problems which previously had been a life long problem. I often think about visiting that retaining wall myself!

OMG that is amazing. Very like the woman in England who has been blind since 1978 and recently had an MI. When she woke up in the hospital, she could see. :)

MI? Magnetic Imaging?

See concussions can cure your ills if you live through them. God it was scary as hell! What I think happened is it pierced his sinuses which docs sometimes do when they operate.

Love the kitties. The first one (the orange cat) looks a tad bit impatient. Like he's barely allowing you to take his picture. The second one looks sarcastic. And the last one looks like my step mom's cat, Hekitty. Hekitty was premature and had to be hand nursed to keep alive. She was a tiny cat, about the size of a six month old cat.

Thanks beautiful Graceanne!

I have always been drawn to the runt and the under dogs.

The first one rules the roost. She can be sweet but she can be violent when another tries her patience. She is the most outgoing and friendly to strangers.

The second one has PTS, is a cartoon one minute, a nutcase the next and a lover the third only you can't predict the sequence.

The last one is one of the two most loving cats I've ever had. Both were Burmese and both had/have serious health issues. I think one reason why she was literally thrown away was because she was too small to produce litters for the kitten factory.

Although I am not a cat man, I appreciate your rescue efforts. I have always believed that we are our cats and dogs pets, and that it is OUR OBLIGATION to care for them and treat them with respect. Just like our submissive partners. Our reward is greater sanity for the owners and the doms.

I agree with you about that. We are the "stewards" of nature. As such we have a great responisbility.

Cats also touch my soul on a deep purring, soft fur level. I adore them! That could be why my nick on here is after one of them who acts the Furry Fury when playing! She plays FULL out!

I'll bet you do too :D

I posted that in the WRONG thread! LOL! Oops! That just goes to show how nuts my life is right now. *grr*

On thread topic let me say this:

I watched Birth with my husband last night. I knew he'd go for it because Nicole Kidman was in it. The premise was intriguing. Her husband dies and he is reincarnated in the body of a 10 year old.

WHY oh why did the people who made this movie FUCK it up so bad?

The pacing was HORRIBLY slow! MANY key plot points were left dangling after only being alluded too.

Worst of all, Nicole's hair was cut mental patient short. WTF???

LOL!

In short it pissed me off. I could see a good movie with better pacing and editing but no, they blew it.

Hey Fury,

I just came back form the Galapgos Islands 1 month ago. Would you like to see some pics since that seems to be what this thread is all about.

I watched part of the movie one night and fell asleep. I own it, but have never finished watching it. It is a great concept was terribly slow. Her hair was way to short.

I've always wanted to go there, the Galapagos Islands. Hell, I want to go just about everywhere!

I must be losing my mind! I can't seem to post in the right thread these days!

My eyes are all dilated right now. I'm messed up.

Galapagos

Here is first pic. Cliffs are about 90 feet tall. My favorite place in the islands.

That's beautiful!

I have to go right now though. A friend showed up at our door.

I'll be back ASAP.

I think I lost the post I meant for this thread. Ah well! Life is that way sometimes.
