The funniest feedback I ever got...the person was taking me to task for the whole story. When they started naming the names of my characters I was like...huh?


None of the names were right...not even close. Then they began on the plot...not even similar to my story...any of my stories.

They went on and on, telling me how I could have done so much better, how I let them down as a reader...so on and so forth. signed...Anon of course. I have to wonder what story and what author they were really wanting to talk about.

I wish I had kept it now...they had some good critiques...but I was needing the room in my e-mail account at that time...gone with the wind now. But it did amuse me.

If one is going to send feedback on a story someone does...they should get the plot line, character names and the general story correct...then make sure it is sent to the corrrect author as well.

I have gotten tons of feedback over the years in which it was very obvious the reader took the story way too seriously...and usually were angry with me...for whatever reason. heh...I just figure if someone can get so wrapped up in one of my stories to that extent...then I must be doing something right.

Does some guy actually have that many comments on poems? I barely have that many views I have a lot fewer votes.

There should be a whole new category for comments by readers! Tt would give us authors an opportunity to vote and comment on them.

Dran's "stupid, stupid" comment would get a 5 from me easily.

People take the comments seriously at the poetry forum. Many of us read all the new poems posted every single day and leave comments on many, or at least on those poems where a serious effort is visible.

275 is much lower than the real number, but the count seems to decrease from time to time; either people have the poems removed to submit elsewhere, and with them the comments, or only comments made in the last 2-3 months count.

If you look at the Feedback Portal, you'll see that the 275 refers to comments made, not comments received. Oops, just checked. 274!

All top 10 non-ChilledVodka commentators, and in fact, all but 6 of the top 25 commentators, are regular posters in the Poetry Board next door.

And looking at that list, it just has to refer only to comments posted in the last 30 days. The actual total numbers would be much higher than that.

Ya know, I really like that idea. I say we petition the powers that be to provide us with just such a catagory. I mean if the trolls can hit us anonymously, the least we can do is make their idiotic comments available for everyone to see just how dumb they are.
