True, but that isn't even feasible actually for a site like this and the numerous posts made by countless folks from unlimited resources. Your question may be applicable, but without any type of verifiable proof being required just comes across as asinine, to me. But as they can post most anything, so can you and I. It's all good and doubtful your occasional questioning of folks would actually stop anything being posted without permission and even less so to cause someone to be shamed so much that they didn't. Possibly, there's a few million folks out there that have an opinion that this site and any posting isn't decent and shouldn't be allowed to exist at all. You are basically inserting your personal preferences on others actually and attempting to use guilt to get them to comply. Just seems ironic to me.But being a decent human and all of us holding each other accountable feels like a good place to start.

I’m not inserting my personal preferences. AM pics is not the place to be posting photos that are not your own.
I think expecting people to follow the guidelines on posting is not too much to ask.
For some folks a reminder to only post their own intellectual property may help. The great thing is that there are also mods on this site and they help to enforce the rules and guidelines.
I find it interesting that me asking a question has sparked this much debate from you but I’m not interested in clogging up the thread any more than we have.

The original poster said they were posting an image of their wife. I asked if they had permission and reminded them of the forum guidelines. The poster said they had permission-end of story.
There are not numerous posts where that is the case. So yes, you are right…my personal preference is evident. Only post photos you have a right to post.
