Three comments:
1) I'd second the notion of checking to see what sort of aid you qualified for at the hospital. They have employees who do nothing but aid paperwork, so if you can find them they can tell you pretty quickly what is available.
2) I'd call you insurance company and see if there is a facility they recommend that's cheaper or if they can negotiate on your behalf with the hospital to see if there could be a reduction in costs since the test is being repeated due to the hospital's error. Insurance companies are generally very thorough when it comes to not wanting to pay for something twice. They negotiate with hospitals all the time even on individual accounts and charges. Hospital prices are soft to insurance companies. It's just the way they do business. May as well have it work in your favor.
3) Is there any doctor you have/know that you like? One that can recommend someone they like or work well with? Health care providers tend to see the good ones. You won't find them wasting time with a provider they can't respect.

Well, since the lymph node swelling is going down so noticeably I'm positive that this was just an immune response to the sinus and upper respiratory infection from hell that I had so I'm really not going to worry about it. I'm focusing my efforts to my diet and getting rest and beginning to get some exercise in amounts I can handle.
I'm pretty confident when I say that I am going to be okay.. I just can not afford to get sick again anytime soon.
I've been really ripping into people at work who are coming in sick now as well. I raked one guy so hard that he did take off and go home but he was maybe ten feet behind me at another console coughing and hacking his lungs up and was blowing his nose every few minutes. He never should have come in.
