Maybe the child is a repressed neo-Nazi and the school should help the child explore and accept his or her true nature. The suicide rate for repressed neo-nazi's is higher than average once they reach their teen years. Who could oppose fighting suicide?

Or more seriously maybe the child is from a non-religious or anti-religious family and has the "God gene." Maybe the child has a psychological need to believe in a higher power or the comfort of a traditional religion. Nobody is born a Neo-Nazi to begin with, converting someone to being gay is probably impossible. I mean given that the percentage of homosexuals seems to be more or less constant across all nations and to the best of our knowledge history very few people would choose it. I mean if I were pretty much anywhere in the Arabic world or hell the Christian one prior to very, very recently I would pay a woman to stand by me just so people don't think I'm suss.

Either way it is nobody's intention to convert straight students of any age into anything. And at the K-3 ages its mostly going to be teaching people the proper names for their body parts and what to do if someone makes them uncomfortable. Which given where these things tend to happen such as the Catholic Church and Boy Scouts it makes a scary amount of sense why conservatives don't want kids to know what inappropriate touching is.

I remember seeing one employee go from being this huge presence in the door of my office to looking like an eleven-year-old kid when I told him he either had to stop pulling power trips or lose his job.
