NETANYA, Israel (CNN) -- A suicide bomber killed at least 10 people and injured at least 80 Wednesday in the Park Hotel in the coastal city of Netanya, Israel, police said.

The terror attack occurred the hotel's foyer, police said.

Netanya is north of Tel Aviv and is only a few miles from the West Bank.

Netanya was the scene of an attack on March 9 when a suicide bomber killed two people including a baby girl and wounded at least 35 others.

The Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, a military wing of Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement, claimed responsibility for the March 9 attack and another the same day in Jerusalem.

This is pretty much the last and final straw for me with Arafat and his Palestinian.

I'd been willing to give them some measure of slack (mostly the Palestinian people, as opposed to Arafat), but in the last few months of the stepped-up Intifada (I hope that's spelled right), my patience is gone.

I'm not saying the Israelis are lily-white in this continuing struggle. I am saying that the Israelis have made more than reasonable efforts to make sure that their retaliatory strikes have targeted governmental or military targets, as we'd expect any nation to do. The Palestinians have not only not done this - they seem to go out of their way to strike civilians and the more the better.

I wouldn't argue at all if Sharon saddled up every soldier he had, slaughtered every single member of Hammas and ran the Palestinians as far from the borders of his country as he could.

The article statement, being just a little bit of dramatization too?

The problem is, he's an "old, corrupt man" in the words of a British journalist on the MidEast "beat" for 20 years - and he has NO control over anybody in the Palestinian-controlled area.

The Palestinians have not only not done this - they seem to go out of their way to strike civilians and the more the better.

They aren't "lily-white", as you say - but the whole notion of "Settlements" has taken the situation and ramped it up far too many notches. Now, I suspect, it's going to be a situation of "total war" before any further attempts at resolution happen. a terrible tragedy, IMHO.

The reason that the terrorists attack civilian targets, I believe is this: Get the Israelis so unhinged in their retaliatory action that they bring down the wrath of all the Arab States and cause yet another regional war - a la 1967...

In order for this to be stopped; someone is going to have to defeated as badly as the Japenese and Germans were in WWII.

There is no human solution. Only an overwhelming victory by one of the combantants or Divine Intervention will cease the fighting. In either case there is gonna be a whole lot of dead people.

Dead people don't fight very effectively.

I obviously dont have an answer to the problem and my quess is that it is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.The Israelis have a right to do whatever is nescessary to protect their citizens,If that means getting totally ruthless then so be it,Do I like that scenario? No not really,But what other options are there? Cut off the head and the body will die, or grow more heads like the hydra and compound your problem.

Killing Arafat could remove their Nationalistic focus or it could send a dozen terror organizations off in a dozen different directions.

Caution and consideration must come before action. You never can be sure what you will unleash.
