Yeah, I'm much like you - signed up so I could see my daughter's holiday pictures - don't know why she couldn't just show me. Now she keeps me updated with her travels round the US: "trucker's mate" for three months. I suppose it's as convenient a way as any of keeping in touch when she's on the road.

It really makes me angry tho., when morons "use" fb to try to incite riots,as has happened recently, and then they cry because they get sent to prison for it. Good. I'm sure it's not meant for that anymore it is for teenagers to use it as an excuse for their friends to trash their home when parents are away

Yes some of the uses of fb create havoc to say the least. The immature trouble makers have just another tool they can abuse.

I'm sure I'll have a fucking blast scaring people. The one I'm in is kind of a combination scare zone and maze, that people drive through (one of the rides that is always there, scale model Model T's I think).

Hello, Mrs Borg; well might you ask, but to prove, (as if it was ever needed), that I have too much time on my hands, I have been looking at the pattern of posting here, since this thread opened in 2002.

We're on page 4586, so I have looked how long it takes to complete 230 pages of posting, i.e., only 20 "calculations"

The busiest period was from the 2nd February to the 13th March, both 2006, when 230 pages of posts, i.e, 5750, took only 39 days to achieve.

However, jobbing backwards from now, the last 230 pages, from 4356, have taken a mind-numbing 1399 days (to the 31st August, the date at the top of this page).

I did a similar exercise on the Playgrounders thread a while ago, which showed much the same sort of pattern, that interest seems to have died off in the past few years.

Oh, and it only took less than 10 minutes, including some re-typing.

I shall now go and get a life, before you all tell me to

It's nearing Christmas and the lights are up, the tree is trimmed and the joy is building.

OF coUrse it's too bad beCause the wind is blowing liKe a hurricane outside and the lights are NOw dangling, The tree (put up way too sooN) is drOpping needles like a junkie While being approached by a cop and my vacuum cleaner is broken which just sucks the joy out of the whole thing.
