War is horrible, when our brave men and women are in it, I support them. When our own come under fire, they need to support each other. Bad things happen in war, the men and women know that. I don't care if your for the war or not, at least admit you want them to come home. If innocent people get killed, while tragic, I would rather see our troops come home then get killed. Taking a life is something they will never forget. Please support them.

The report I saw was on the BBC news. All was quiet and reasonably calm and the reporter was giving an account of what had just happened, when a part of a helicopter came into view behind him, and opened fire. Wrong place at the wrong time, maybe, but it looked bloody awful.

Forgive my over-simplification, but when wouldn't war look awful?

You must also understand it is not the chopper crews decision to fire. Know procedure in these situations, I can safely say the crew radioed a report on the situation and were ordered to fire.

An order I would not disagree with under the circumstances.

I have to agree that the crew must have been ordered. So, the intentions behind the order is what's at debate. I can not, and will not, comment on this subject. All I know is that in the end what is meant to happen will happen. My sympathies to those who lost their lives.
