I've built really complex pieces of furniture, so how did I manage to fuck up a simple box? Good thing I always buy extra lumber for projects these days. I'm gonna need a bigger board.

What's the most complex thing you've built? Large or small is ok, just wondering.

I've done several custom kitchens. Those were pretty difficult because I started with a pile of boards and sheets of plywood. I also built a cylinder top desk and sliced the veneers myself for it.

I can't do much WWing anymore. My back won't let me lift anything heavy. I still have to make a replacement hood for a 1670's era grandfather clock that I'm hoping I can get to this year.

What you got?

Nothing in your league. Just a few occasional pieces in the Shaker style. Tables, shelves, a few clocks.

Don't let my list of the things I've done put you off. If you've built things from scratch, that's an accomplishment no one can talk down about. I certainly won't.

Seriously, grab a few pics and post them. I think there's a crafty litsers thread around here someplace. Who knows, maybe there's someone here who thinks sliding dovetails are sexy.
