Excellent!

:nana: Go Joey! :nana:

Who's the daddy? You're the daddy!

How's your son? I hope his spirits were lifted by your superdad heroics, and that you presented your winning arguments to him as well. I hope he now knows that he was totally in the right.

Good news, joey :)

I've been meaning to ask... was your son's girlfriend ever asked about her opinion on all this? Must have been a really weird situation for her too.

Something similar happened to a friend of mine when she was thirteen. Some boy a year older was interrested in her, he flirted a little, she told him she wasn't interrested, he said ok and kept his distance. And that. Was that. Or should have been. Of course, after just a day in the school yard rumor mill, Word was that he'd groped her and tried to shove his tongue down her throat.

So her parents, hearing about it from some other kid's parents, were in an uproar.

"My daughter was molested! I'm calling the police!"

"But Dad, he didn't do anyth..."

"Quiet, dear. This is grownup business."

A cop came by, ignored the parents' frenzied fussing and went straight for the young girl. After a two minute conversation with her, he stood up, turned to the parets and told them what idiots they were for believing unconfirmed school rumors instead of listening to their own daughter.

And that. Was that.

He's doing pretty good all things considered, was a bit confused at first (rightly so) but he's smiling big again now , just the way he should be, thanks 3113.
Pass it on to Tc if you get a chance. :rose:

That sucks!

Aww, that's awful! Zero tolerance sucks but on the upside it's great you're son has such a supportive, caring dad. Kuddos to you :) You know something's wrong when kids can't be kids anymore.

His girlfriend was asked right away, she didn't have any issue with my son's behavior, quite the opposite and came to his defense many times throughout this incident.

Sometimes as parents we assume way too much ..IMO..lol

*grins*..thanks Harold..now I know I can do it!!!!!!! :nana:

Somewhere inthat mass of hits is probably the double-sided iron on tape the BX used to sell for gluing stripes and nametags onto uniforms -- it requires a bit more domestic skills than most of theproducts on that first hit, but well within the capability of "highly trained killing machines" right out of basic training. :p
