bah.

Well.........I haven't blurted in awhile.

Being the a-typical man.....I did most of my Christmas shopping today. I did manage to get more than 3/4's of it finished this morning along with the throngs of other families that were out hitting every mall, strip mall and toy store from here to St. Nick's ass.

But...what angers me most of all is when you go out SPECIFICALLY for an item, and of course it is out of stock. What I'm talking about is one of those "Black & Decker" laser levels that they have been advertising incessantly for the last three weeks. Every time you turn on a television, there is an ad for one. Of course, my father has seen this barrage of ads. And...of course being the good son that I am, I forrage out in search of one for him.

Do you think one is in stock in the 60 mile radius of my home? Oh no. Heavens no. Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Sears, every conceivable hardware store ....are out of them. And....they all seem to stick to the story that they will be out of stock on them until at least the 15th of January.

My question is this: WHY THE FUCK DO THEY RUN THE ADS ON SOMETHING THAT IS SO OBVIOUSLY OUT OF STOCK?!

Ya may as well run cruise ship ticket specials for Carribean vacations on the friggin' Titantic, for pete's sake.

Fuck you Black and Decker! Merry Friggin' Christmas...and a shitty new year.

Amazon shows it as an item they're no longer stocking.

Every other link I found for it, links back to Amazon. Hrm..

My dilemma also. <g> I tried a google search..which led me to the B&D site. Search function is useless there.

So...I even went the "Ebay" route. Which is fine if you want to pay twice the cost of the frigging thing. lol
