I have rented several Blue Ray movies from Red Box. The intro looks and sounds fine, yet once it goes into the trailers and the movie there is no sound. Also the same complaint with non-Blu-Ray DVDs. Any ideas? I end up watching them on my laptop, while my large HDTV and surround-sound are left unused.

Is the sound wired correctly through the receiver? Maybe there's a sound setting in the DVD player menu that needs adjusting, or on the receiver. Are the TV audio/video settings correct?

I get great sound when the distributor screen shows up. Tri-Mark or whatever, which means the sound is fine. But when it goes to the previews/movie, no sound.
