I have completed chapter 1 of what looks to be several chapters, and submitted it to an editor. After a week of no contact, I am now looking for someone who can give me a fairly quick turn around. I'll begin by telling you that I have been writing for more than 20 years and have a degree in English, however, I am fairly new to erotica. Please read my first story, link in sig line, for an idea of my basic writing style, although my new story is very different in content. I submitted my first story completely unedited, so all mistakes are my own.

My story is ultimately a love story, but will fall within the BDSM category - D/s relationship, light bondage, some light S/M, toys. Chapter 1 is roughly 5,400 words and is in Word 2000 format. I've begun work on chapter 2, and would like to be able to continue with the same editor through the entire story, if possible.

Please feel free to PM me or post a reply here if you are interested in helping me out. Thanks so much!!

Just wondering whether you had any contact with the ed. before submitting your manuscript. It could be that he or she is on vacation, ill, or even inactive and not checking Lit-mail or PM.

The last contact I had with her said to send it along and she'd let me know if she wasn't going to have time to look at it. So it wasn't sent blindly.

It was just a thought--happened to one of "my" writers a few months ago.
I will be happy to offer some suggestions if you don't find an editor who is better suited (I'm not terribly familiar with dom/sub of BDSM) but the editing itself would be no problem.

At this point, I'm really just hoping someone can read it and tell me if it's worthy of posting or needs more work. I would really appreciate any help. It's light on the BDSM anyway, nothing too heavy. If you're interested, would you PM me with contact info? Thank you!!

Making a new conquest CopyCarver huh? ;)

You bet. Time off from work this week, so I might as well do something useful. (Counting the dimples on a golf ball has lost its charm.)

Now why am I beginning to feel like the victim of a hit and run here?

Just kidding - I've learned I have to explain when I'm being sarcastic or people take me too seriously . . .

I know the feeling. I hate to infuriate people inadvertently--it's so much more fun to do iintentionally

Yeah, you'd think my tag line under my name would clue people in, but apparently it doesn't. Go figure.

What you don't understand is that after looking at your AV they lose their ability to read. Small head takes over. :D

Yeah, but it's the women who don't get me. The men seem to totally get it. Oh well.

Do I get extra points for creating a variant spelling of intentionally? Physicians may not be able to heal themselves, but I should edit me.

Not only do you get extra points but you also get a  from me.
I'm so glad to see you're not perfect. :p

It's a winner, Beach Gurl. I can't find a single problem with your story, and I'm a tough grader. Great work!
