Some do love fantasies about their wives fucking friends or just strangers. Sometimes, probably most times, it's just fantasy and not desired to bring it to reality. I have these fantasies because I like to project my wife into a scene where she is perhaps helpless or feels free to let herself be uninhibited with a stranger. I often put myself into the scene to watch and later participate or to be participating with another women while it's all happening.

When I was married, the fantasy became an obsession with me, and that was a problem for her.
