friend obsessed

I hope one from the board can offer some hope to a friend of mine. My friend is apparently obsessed with this bulletin board. Initially an avid reader, it seems that now she wnats to monopolize each discussion. My first thought was that a sound spank would curtail her, but I realize that it would only fuel her habit, and soon there would be a severe shortage of band width, as my friend would want to share the details of her punishment with you all, and would start to engage on lengthy discussions, detailing her corporal punishment, and perhaps soliciting new ideas.( wow, was that really one sentance??)

If you have any thoughts on this matter, please let me know!

I know who you are refering to and she is very annoying. She is making the classic rookie mistake by posting everywhere and pissing people off. Don't worry one of the regular members will soon put her in her place and her enthusiasm will die down. I've seen it happen to others and they eventually all learn.

My Question

If she is a friend of yours, why don't you just tell her yourself. Certainly if you feel that she is doing something detrimental to herself or her home life, as a good friend, wouldn't you want to mention this to her instead of trying to publicly say something that may hurt her feelings?

I'm not trying to upset you, just wondering why, if you are friends as you say, you wouldn't just say something yourself.

If the hint above makes any sense, the person in question just hasn't come across as overly annoying yet. Perhaps overzealous, but I've seen far more annoying people post on this board. Some still do. It's really got to get to the point where it's obscene before it pisses me off. And the person I think you're referring to has contained herself to a handful of threads - it's the people that corrupt every single thread with mindless drivel that piss me off.

Guess I'm just still stuck in this "more moderate Lasher" phase. Hope it doesn't last much longer, LOL.

I started my holidays on Friday .. ok so I got a bit high and was having fun on your Board (hey it was only 3 lousy days) .. i really really enjoyed the friends i made here in that short time .. i thought you guys were better sports .. especially the famous sex therapists amongst you ... OMG i will never be able to see Dr. Ruth again without cringing.

Rudeboy is sometimes kinda *naive* for lack of a better word. Although I know he is not the mean "Dr. Ruth" type, he has gone too far this time with me.
