But it couldn't get much worse than yesterday - huh? Except that the Met's won and I presume all of us here are still alive - the rest of the news sucked big time.

I'm outa NYC and down DC - byweekly trek. Everyone have a good weekend. Hunker down and try not to think about all this "world shit" so much.

Actually looks like a great weather weekend here on the East Coast of the US. Sunny here in NYC and very pleasent - excellent weather for the thousands of protestors over at the UN.

I grew up on that damn beltway -

It opened during my mid-HS years - it was only two lanes, each way back then - and believe it or not for a couple of years it seemed nearly deserted - it was actually fun for my buddies and I to - not recklessly speed cause we were new drivers - but to go a bit over the 65mph and try to make it all the way around in just under an hour.

That was back then - today I'll hit it up there around U of MD and I have to go just about half way round - with the traffic just that 25 or 30 miles will take an hour and a half - and that's normal - if anything happens, like it does about once in every three or four days - it will take longer.

Learned to drive on the Beltway. I know all about the traffic, used to commute to Rockville. Aaugh! The Snake! Beltway driving sucks unless you're on the PG county side of things.

If you try to do 65 now, you'll prabably get rear-ended.

mornin'.. yawns, rubs eyes... looking forward to a peewee football game tomorrow a.m. and a weekend of being lazy and gluttonous. I'm going to take this last weekend to gorge on all the food I've missed out on and then come Monday, it's back to the gym. ugh.

Beautiful here with more beauty this weekend all ending on Monday morning with sleep caked eyes and balancing coffee as I drag my briefcase to the car and head to work.

As for me, it's a lazy day at work. I'm here only for the sake of the others. Both the attorneys are out of town on vacation. We have a judge's conference this week and no court. At this point in time, I am in jeans, a T-shirt and a baseball cap, kicked back on my couch typing to all of you. AAaahhhh...I can feel the productivity racing through my veins.
