Actually, my wife is out of town and I'm gonna hang out at lit for a while. Kind of sad that this is considered a fun night out...lol.

Went out to dinner with a couple old friends to a Thai restaurant. Had Hot and Spicey seafood; scallops, mussells and shrimp. Had a shrimp appetizer too. Good conversation too. But now I'm back and playing on lit. Going to read the Castle Realm a little later.

Just got home from work, have to go in again early tomorrow.

Tonight I am dyeing my friends hair (can you believe she trusts me?).

And that's about it. Woohoo!

Let's see my girls called me and asked to see if I wanted to go to this bar we enjoy going to .... "our" favorite band is going to be playing.

But alas I declined the offer even though I really thought about it , was even looking for my heels ... but then reality slapped me. I have a paper/presentation due this Monday. I not only have to write a paper I have to come up with this whole power point presentation that will knock every one's socks off ... so I decided that tonight I would have an outline ready & by midnight I should have half of the paper written.

Wish me luck .... good thing I have a pint of Ben & Jerry's " Chunky Monkey" ice cream in the fridge.

Plus my man called me and was going into great detail about how he can not wait to see me because he wants to ... , I really should get back to my work. * big sigh*

Taking a bike ride to South Beach.

When I got home from school I slept for two hours. I went to a friend and her boyfriend's new house (totaly cool) and got high. Then we went to eat Chinese food. We went to Target. We went to the theatre and bought tickets for I AM SAM but it didn't start for 3 hours so we went to Target (they bought a CD rack and I got a compilation CD called "FUNK OF THE 80's." We went back to their house, got high some more, listened to "Superfreak" and watched Monty Python. Then we went back to the theatre. I had given my friend my ticket saying, "here, hold this because I will lose it." She tucked it away. We get to the theatre and she hands me my ticket. I buy a pack of Goobers. We go get in line. "Where's my fucking ticket?" I said as I searched my pockets. Then she searched my pockets. So we got a refund for their tickets and went back to there place and got stoned again.

Now, I am chillin'. And fading fast.

i left here around 3 and went to look at a place that my friend is considering living in for next year. then we went to the grocery store, bought some chicken and some other stuff... went to her current apartment and i made dinner.. 1 of her friends, and 1 of mine came over there and we all had dinner... i had made a garlic lemon butter sauce for the chicken and put it over pasta.. it was really yummy... and then the one girl left and we watched Gladiator cuz my friend had never seen it before and we played wtih the cats the whole time too... and then around 11 (bout half hour ago), i hitched a ride back to campus with my friend and changed into my jammies and am thinking about reheating some of the leftovers

I left work about an hour or so earlu today because of my migraine, went home, took about 5 Excedrin Migraine and slept for a couple hours.

Then I got up, showered and met my friends for a concert I needed to attend for one of my muslc classes. It was an alumni concert at my friend's school - flute and acoustic guitar.

Turned out that in the second half, a jazz gig broke out. The classical stuff was pretty good. Both players are virtuoso players, professors, and recorded musicians. They then were joined by a string bass player and did about seven really good jazz tunes. I got home not long ago, ate a sandwich, because I hadn't eaten since about 11 AM and now here I sit.

The evening turned out pretty darned good. I'm a reasonably happy boy! No sex, but I can handle that. I'm used to it.

After tonight, I'm feeling very well, thanks hon.

The concert really helped, believe it or not. I guess I just needed a night away from class or work and with some music to heal my body and soul.
