::::: FRIDAY NIGHT at the MOVIES :::::

It's Friday night and I'm bored... Let's talk about the movies. Any kind of movie or video you like, be it PG through XXX. What are your favorites? Share a video link here if you can find one.

Hmm... some of my favorites would be: "Dr. Zhivago", "Braveheart", and (although I hate to admit it) "Moulin Rouge"... I love films with stunning cinematography. Then there are the classic black and white films... "It's A Wonderful Life", "Casablanca" and "GWT." I'm also addicted to old musicals... "Meet Me In St. Louis" (anything with Judy Garland) and many more.

In the name of late Friday Night fun, though, I'm going to start out with some video links that aren't to any real movies, but they most definitely caught my attention. They were made to promote a brand of sex pillows. (Brand name witheld lol, I'm not promoting the products) If I could, I'd nominate these clips as the "Best Non-Porn" porn on the Internet. But then again, I'm a woman... and I love the sexy and sensual far beyond the suck and fuck flicks. ;)

These videos run anywhere from about 3 to 8 minutes. There is no advertising, just high quality sex. Maybe they're faking it... but frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn. *Grins*

You'll need Real Player, Windows Media or Real One to play these videos. Enjoy... :p

Hmmmm, at almost three in the morning, all I can think of is kinky movies. Which has to be an oldie, 'Scheherezade:1001 Erotic Nights' ...starring one of my all time favorite porn queens, Annette Haven. ;)

I haven't seen it. But, I haven't watched porn in years... it bores me most of the time. Much too crude for me lol... Real life sex is sooo much nicer. :D

Got a pic of her?

"Soylent Green" w/Charlton Heston ;)

Title: SOYLENT GREEN
Actor/Actress: Heston, Charlton , Taylor YOung, Leigh
Director: Fleischer, Richard
Year: 1973
Runtime: 97M
Rating: PG
Language: English
Color: Yes

21st century New York City is (still) an overpopulated mess, and the only food left is Soylent Green, a soybean and lentil concoction with an extra-special, government-mandated ingredient. As police detective Thorn (Charlton Heston) investigates a murder, he learns of a conspiracy with bizarre implications. This Edward G. Robinson's final movie, as the star died not long after filming his final scene. Based on Harry Harrison's "Make Harrison's "Make Harrison's "Make :)

The most lauded movie musical ever made, WEST SIDE STORY (1961) didn't reinvent the genre or even rescue it from its impending decline, but this film's unprecedented integration of song, dance and narrative ushered the movie musical into the modern era. The artistry with which WEST SIDE STORY combined elements of drama, opera and ballet -- not just to stylize William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," but more importantly, to evoke the mood of the classic tragedy in a modern setting -- raised the standards by which musicals are judged. Its success doesn't rest with the talent of its performers (though they are talented), but rather, emanates from the holistic construction of the film -- its use of sights, sounds, songs, steps, settings and the relentless energy of its ensemble cast to drive the plot forward through its emotional highs and lows without forgetting to pause for those character-specific moments which make the story at once unique and universal.
Just how lauded was it? Nominated for an incredible eleven Academy Awards in 1961, WEST SIDE STORY took home ten Oscars including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (George Chakaris), Best Supporting Actress (Rita Moreno), and Best Direction (Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins). Only two other films, BEN-HUR (1959) and TITANIC (1997) have earned more Academy Awards.

Love this movie...

An old obscure one...

By todays standards this horror film is mild....but back then it sucked me in and scared the beejesus out of me.

Videodrome
1983, Horror / Thriller, R
Director: David Cronenberg With: James Woods, Deborah Harry, Peter Dvorsky, Leslie Carlson, Sonja Smits, Jack Creley

When Max Renn (James Woods) uses his satellite dish to beam in a show called "Videodrome," he tries to find out more about it and discovers that the tales of human bondage may be for real. Interesting premise. ~snip~
