I broke up with Dave. Actually, he broke up with me, over the stupidest shit, but I digress........

I am going to be living in the same house, but with different rules. It's nice.

So, ten years down the drain, oh well. I have learned and I have lived. So, who is up for a high five? Because right now, I am in shock and I want to enjoy it before it wears off.

Well, we weren't married, but I think I am just still in shock. It is a blow for me, but it was coming either way.
I love him, but not enough to put up with the bullshit anymore.
Jesse is one of the reasons I am not staying with him. I don't want him to see this relationship and compare it to his own. I know he is only three, but what you see makes who you are. Goood or bad.

I hope you don't see the time you spent in your relationship a waste. I think we're the sum of all our experiences (good, bad and indifferent) and we wouldn't be HERE, now -- thinking these thoughts, living these feelings --- being the person we are, without having gone through it all to get here.
